Proudly Puerto Rican, Brenda draws inspiration from her heritage, her upbringing, and the people who have shaped her journey. Beyond her work as an author, Brenda is a seasoned leader in the staffing industry with nearly two decades of experience at Robert Half. Known for her ability to build meaningful relationships and drive business growth, she has been recognized 12 times at the company’s “Reach for the Stars” awards and is a top-performing producer. She leads high-performing teams specializing in administrative and accounting talent solutions and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals. Her leadership has also earned her recognition as one of Brickell Magazine’s Top 20 Professionals Under 40

Her debut book, Kissed by the Sun, has received multiple recognitions, including honors from the International Latino Book Awards, where it earned a Bronze Award for Best First Book and an Honorable Mention for Most Inspirational Children’s Picture Book.

Brenda is deeply committed to community impact and women’s empowerment. She serves as Vice President of TheLatinaPro®, where she helps create spaces for connection, collaboration, and growth for Latina professionals and entrepreneurs.

Above all, Brenda is a proud mother, storyteller, and advocate for representation in children’s literature. Through school visits, speaking engagements, and community events, she inspires children to dream big and embrace their roots. She enjoys the arts and spending quality time with her son and family in Miami.
